At Piazza Scammacca, the first metropolitan market in Catania, enjoy a themed experience dedicated to discovering Sicilian volcanic wines.
Following the chosen theme, 4 wines will be tasted. Each glass will be paired with a specially designed matching bite, created in synergy by our sommelier and our chefs, each bringing the style of Piazza Scammacca’s single-theme formats.
Sicilian volcanic wines – The eruptive activity of volcanoes has created soils with completely original and distinctive characteristics. In fact, the volcanic rocks formed have different origins and compositions, leading to the production of surprising wines, each with a different story to tell.
